Certified Active Release Techniques Provider

Danyele earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa in 2003 and has worked with athletes and individuals of all ages in the greater Moncton area for the past 15 years.

Danyele is passionate about learning and continues to refine and develop her skills as a physiotherapist. She has extensive training in Active Release Techniques® (full bodied and master certified). She has a background in Sahrmann's Movement Systems Impairment Syndromes, Selective Functional Movement Screening, acupuncture, kinesio taping, running injuries, the Mackenzie Method, manual therapy and ROST Therapy (for pregnant or postpartum women).

My youth was spent either in the pool training as competitive swimmer, on the soccer field, on a softball diamond and pretty much any other sport that came my way. Unfortunately a knee injury made me sit out my senior year in high school soccer season. But, it also made me discover this wonderful profession. Ultimately, that is what inspired me to pursue a career in health promotion and it has given me insight on the demands of competitive sports.

My other full time job is being a mother of 3 kids. This has certainly given me perspective on the importance of finding balance in a hectic lifestyle and highlighted the importance of posture and muscle system balance. More so now as they grow, I see the importance if being a good role model by keeping active myself and also inspiring them to be active as well.

Over the years I have also volunteered at various sporting events in the Greater Moncton area including the Canadian Figure Skating championships, tennis tournaments, running events, handball and volleyball tournaments.

When I am not working at the clinic or spending time with my family, I love to swim, practice yoga, go to the gym and golf. I love to travel and try to do it as often as I can. Occasionally I can also be found at home with friends and family indulging in a nice glass of wine 😉.
